Why should I have a workout program if I surf?


The most efficient method to improve you surf paddling endurance is to be in the water, and paddle, but for most of us, that’s not always possible, as there is not always good conditions. Therefore, when you have an endurance workout program you can progress even when you are not in the water, then when surfing days arrive you will notice a huge progress!

Paddling is one of the most important things for surfing, as you need it to catch a wave and to paddle out, I'm sure you all know how awful is to paddle out on a big day, Thus, training endurance will help you keep you strong when paddling out.

Strength and endurance training

My program for surfers is based on two methods, strength training and endurance training. I have create a system that consists on performing one week of strength training and one week of endurance training, using cut and bulk strategies as well, this means that your nutrition will change every week, it will be super exciting!


Not everybody has the same fitness goals or the same body composition, that is why all of my workout programs are custom made for you, based on all the information you provide on the form, also you will experience changes as you progress in this beautiful fitness world!

Full-Body Movements

Surfing is a dynamic sport that demands body movement in three-dimensional space, so you need to train your body to become efficient in motion and stronger. therefore, one of the factors that my workout program focuses is full body training using calisthenics exercises, which i'm sure you will love it!

The ability to control your joints and limbs as they move through full range of motion is one of the foundation stones for both performance and longevity in any sport especially surfing where you’re attempting to maintain your balance in amongst the swell. Therefore, after every of my sessions, I do some stretches mixed with yoga. In a short time you will notice a big difference in the water since you will be looser and more relaxed.

Surf Core Training

A strong core is necessary for not only staying pain free but also being able to surf with speed and power. The core is much more than your abs, it comprises many muscles throughout your trunk that help stabilize and transmit movement and power throughout your body. If you join my program we will have an insane core stability training based on my calisthenics experience where you will have a lot of fun!
